Pick up is usually 2hrs 30mins before sunset. The times vary throughout the year earlier in Winter later in Summer but rest assured we will be in touch with precise details the day before your tour (morning of tour for Tuesday departures).
Our main pick-up area is between Los Cristianos and Callao Salvaje and usually this will mean you get picked up by our 55-seater bus. On here though you will be entertained by our guide who will give you fun facts and anecdotes about the island from start to stars! Anyone outside of our normal area in the south will be picked up by our shuttle Van 8-seater minibus and again will get a guide who will give some fun facts about the island on the way up.
We advise you to have your own transport as we do go to three different locations in one evening for the meal, the sunset and stargazing. Taxi would be very expensive as it would need to wait for you at the stops. There are no buses where we go either!
Yes, in the winter the tempartaure can be as alow as 2◦C but with the wind chill it can feel like -2◦C. The temparture up Mount Teide in the summer is around 15◦C to 17◦C but with coast being about 30◦C to 35◦C still feels very cold to some people.
Absolutely! The low humidity and stable climate create exceptional night skies, making it a standout destination for stargazing and astrophotography. NASA describe the night skies of Tenerife as a "window to the universe".

Yes, you can definitely see the Milky Way in Tenerife!
Obviously the moon is very bright when near full Moon and does detract from some of the fainter stars. You will still see all the constellations easily and everything we show through the telescope, as a bonus you will also see the Moon, my favourite celestial object to view through a telescope and you will be Wowed by the immense detail you can see!
The low humidity and stable climate create exceptional night skies, making Tenerife a standout destination for stargazing and astrophotography.
In fact, 83 of the 88 officially recognised constellations can be seen from Teide National Park so if you're looking for things to do in Tenerife you’ll not want to leave without experiencing a Night Skies Tenerife Stargazing & Sunset Tour.

We are blessed in Tenerife with wonderful and clear weather on most days, the Teide Observatory registers over 300 clear or partially clear nights every year!. However, on the rare occasion where this is not the case, we have the following policies:
Cancellation Policy
If the live webcam on Teide shows, or the weather forecast predicts severely adverse conditions and there is an extremely low probability that the tour can be completed, then we will cancel the tour giving the most notice possible. We will make every effort to reschedule you on another tour, however where this is not possible we will arrange a 100% refund to you.
Curtailment Policy
If the live webcam on Teide shows, or the weather forecast predicts conditions such that we believe that there is a reasonable probability that the tour can be completed, then we will proceed with the tour in good faith and make every effort possible to ensure that we can complete the tour and deliver a satisfactory sunset and stargazing experience for you. However, at our discretion, if we believe that the weather conditions have deteriorated to an extent that we are unable to provide a satisfactory sunset and/or stargazing experience due to poor visibility; we will curtail the tour at either the commencement of the sunset or the commencement of the stargazing.
We will make every effort to reschedule you on another day free of charge, however where this is not possible we will arrange a refund of Two Thirds (66.67%) of your ticket price if the tour is curtailed prior to the sunset and 50% of your ticket price if the tour is curtailed at the stargazing and furthermore we will issue you with a voucher for a One Half (50%) discount if you book another tour on our website within the next 12 months.
We appreciate that the above terms ‘extremely low probability’, ‘reasonable probability’ and ‘satisfactory experience’ are all subject to interpretation, but this decision is at our discretion and is our decision alone. We will always aim to be fair and transparent when making these decisions.
